LIVORNO. FlySight and DRASS collaborated for the joint development of the ISS (Integrated Submarine System) project, in partnership with CNIT RaSS Lab.
Conceived to support the management of submarine onboard systems, the project has combined operational flexibility, technological scalability, and cybersecurity by design, strengthening the relationship between the two companies and consolidating their expertise in the maritime and underwater domains.
Both companies will participate in SEAFUTURE 2025, each with its own exhibition space.

FlySight at Booth A10 and DRASS at Booth A29
At Booth A10, FlySight will showcase a simulation environment that highlights its consolidated capabilities in supporting underwater operations.Visitors will be able to experience:
- Integration of heterogeneous sensor data into a unified tactical picture, enabling effective situational awareness and decision-making.
- Interactive periscope simulation, allowing visitors to step into the role of the operator, move the camera to change the field of view, and see those changes dynamically reflected on the tactical chart.
- Augmented reality functionalities, with simulated targets represented in 3D models that can be positioned, tracked, and analyzed in relation to the surrounding environment.
- AIS data integration, enabling real-time reception, decoding, and representation of vessel information directly within the operational scenario.
- Dynamic tracking and data fusion, combining sonar, navigation, and communication inputs to build a coherent and updated operational picture.
- Operator-focused interfaces, designed to simplify complex tasks, reduce workload, and improve mission effectiveness.
Through these demonstrations, the innovative capabilities resulting from the collaboration between FlySight and DRASS will be showcased, highlighting flexible, scalable, and secure technologies developed for the maritime and underwater sectors, and emphasizing the value of research-industry synergy in delivering advanced defence solutions.
